untitled landscapes

concrete photographs, chemograms on light-sensitive document paper,
dimensions variable
„(untitled) landscapes” are in daylight half of the photo papers (chemograms) dipped in developers. This is an old Orwo two-bath document paper which, due to its less sensitive properties, is best suited to create a sense of space and depth through the painterly process of’ paper dipping’, in order to evoke an emotional image of a landscape in me. The portrait formats are very important to me because they show that landscape formats and panoramas are not absolutely necessary to reach the just described mood. Coincidence played an important role in this, as only half of this process could be controlled by me.
